What are the benefits of the Zen Den?

The Zen Den is based on a structured program scientifically proven to decrease symptoms of stress and anxiety, and increase well-being, resilience, mindfulness, happiness, and positive health behavior.

The Zen Den addresses two aspects of human experience – attention and interpretation.

Students who utilize the Zen Den should gain a better self-understanding in…

Awareness - participants will be introduced to three key neural vulnerabilities that generate and multiply stress: focus, fatigue and fear.

Students will be exposed to the neuroscience and behavioral aspects of human experience, particularly with respect to stress, resiliency, performance, and well-being.

Attention – Mindfulness (develop authentic, un-distracted, and intentional presence).

Attitude (positive mindset) - disciplined yet flexible focus to re-frame thinking with a more adaptive and pragmatic perspective that is conducive to calm temperament as well as passionate engagement.

Students will learn practical approaches to enhance self-awareness, attention, and positive mindset and thereby decrease stress and anxiety, increase resilience, enhance performance, and improve relationships.
