Advanced Dance

Class overview

Advanced Dance is for the serious dance student who has previous dance class experience and plans on continuing with dance after high school.

In this class, students will study the history and technique of many influential dancers and choreographers in Ballet, Jazz and Modern dance genres. Students will also study Dance Composition, Theater Management and different career paths in dance and theater.

Students will have the opportunity to choreograph their own dance(s) along with performing throughout the year.

An audition is required for placement.
