About Me!
My name is Kaitlyn Alonzo, and I’ve lived in Lubbock, Texas my whole life. I was a teacher for three years at a small LISD school that’s very near and dear to my heart. Recently, I started a new journey with Communities In Schools, and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it! I’m grateful for the opportunity to support our students and families and to be part of such a caring campus community.
Did you lose a jacket or a water bottle?
I have quite a few jackets and water bottles in my office that are missing their owners. If your child is missing something, please reach out to me and I’ll be happy to check for it!
Communities In Schools (CIS)
CIS is a program here on campus dedicated to supporting students so they can succeed in school and in life. We work directly with students and families to remove barriers—whether that’s access to basic needs, academic support, or emotional encouragement. Our goal is to make sure every student feels connected, supported, and ready to learn. If your family ever needs help or resources, we are here for you.
