Hello! My name is Brittany Wright and I am marketing teacher and DECA advisor at Lubbock-Cooper High School in Lubbock, TX. I hold an Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and will begin attending the College of Media and Communication at Texas Tech University to work on my Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation this summer. I love to utilize a variety of pedagogy including gamification, project-based, real-world scenario integration, technology and professional support from the community. I prefer creation as a means of learning any time I can include it in my lessons. My students implement project management skills to create obstacle courses, green screen movies, commercials, podcasts, blogs, websites and a variety of campaigns. Most importantly, I LOVE to incorporate the community including elementary student collaboration projects, guest speakers for business and law, and real estate professionals to support in the learning for student’s efforts at obtaining their sales agent license.
