Hi! My name is Kamiah and this is my 2026, graphic arts portfolio. Here in this portfolio, you will see me using many different ways to capture different types of photos.
Here we have 1 of the 2 examples of how I captured this photo using emphasis. We have a bright, vibrant backrgound, with darker shades such as the cars and trees in the.
Here is another example of how I used emphasis to capture a photo. The goal of this photo was to have your eye go directly to the little yellow car because it is the brightest object in the photo. The other objects are very dull, whereas only one object is completely different.
In this picture here, we used Adobe Photoshop to create/design an image that represents balance. Although both are on opposite sides, they are balanced because each object in the photo is in the same position as the other object that it shares physical similarities with.
Here are my two examples of using contrast. In the first image I went with different but darker shades of blue for the sky and buildings, but a bright white moon and stars. In the second image, I showed contrast by using an example of hot and cold, and summer and winter.
In this image, I used Photoshop Adobe again to show how typography and hierarchy is used. Some of the words I chose to make bold and some I chose to use an interesting font for to demonstrate the message I was trying to send through the font/words.
Here we have my Hello Dolly poster I created for the schools spring musical. While creating this poster, we had to remember to use all of the Principles of Design, such as emphasis, contrast, balance, and many more we were just being introduced to.
Here is five of many photos I took for our signs of spring assignment. We had to take photos of things/objects that represented the season transitioning into spring. I took photos of things such as flowers beginning to bloom and the vibrance of the objects in the photo.
Down below you will find some of my work from my digital portrait assignment that we've recently done
Here is a photo I created using Adobe Photoshop to represent Memorial day by using white space.
