FINAL PHOTO ASSIGNMENT
FINAL POSTER/FLYER ASSIGNMENT
The purpose of this assignment was to continue to learn about color and how value and contrast work together to make great art. I went through many steps to create this final product, and I am proud of how it turned out!

While working on the Addams Family poster, there were a few challenges that I had to overcome, and things that I learned on the way. I used emphasis by creating white space with the image I chose of the Addams family. This draws the viewer's eyes to the image of the family. I created hierarchy by using a bright red which also creates a pull for the viewer's eyes. Symmetrical balance is also shown through my poster because of the spacing of the text. The story of the Addams Family is dark, so I tried to incorporate some dark colors within this poster. Overall, I learned how to use white space, and I realized that sometimes less is more.
In this assignment, I had to use photoshop to design a black and white poster that included an inspirational quote for the classroom. I used the principle of hierarchy to draw the viewer's eye to important words.
I created this design as an example of symmetrical balance. I used the shape tool on photoshop to create many circles, and i justed the size of each, added a color, and flipped the design to show balance.
In this assignment, my goal was to morph two animals together by using the select and mask tool in photoshop!
Emphasis is shown through the color of the pink sugar packet against the white sugar packets.
The shadows on these flowers show contrast.
Symmetry is shown by the placement of these paintings.
My first assignment in Graphic Arts was to create a name tag using Photoshop. This assignment helped me to understand photoshop tools and get used to using the software.
