As a junior in high school, I led the production of a thank-you video for donors who supported the creation of our new multimedia learning center. I wrote the script and managed the full production process, including interviews, filming, and editing. This project marked a major step forward in my development as a digital media student.
This project pushed my creative capabilities and required a high level of organization and dedication. I interviewed every member of the homecoming court and featured at least one clip from each. Despite my commitments as a cheerleader, I successfully filmed during both the homecoming game and pep rally. The music ties the piece together, and I am extremely proud of the final result.
This year, the Head of Advancement approached me to create a promotional advertisement for the school. Seeing the final product air on television was an exciting experience that challenged me to expand my skills in both marketing strategy and cinematography.
After the 30-second version was released, I was challenged to condense the ad into a 15-second spot. I am very proud of both final pieces.
