Budgie, an app concept created using the advanced design program Figma, is a teen-targeted budgeting app. It is heavily inspired by the color and simplicity of the budgerigar, a species of bird. It includes various features, such as a page to set goals, keep track of goal progress, divide paychecks based upon your budget, manage how much money you have for different wants and needs, a spending log, and a built-in calculator. All icons and artwork are original pieces. Ibis Paint X, a drawing software, was used to creare the drawing of the budgie.

This piece received an honorable mention in the 2025 Summit STEM product design competition. Summit STEM is a summer STEM program in which I was selected out of 4,200+ applicants alongside peers from 50+ countries with mentors from Harvard, Stanford, and MIT.
