Script: The powder puff games were so much fun to watch.  Many girls grabbed their glitter, ribbons, eye black, and flags to suit up for the annual powder puff games!! The first rounds began with a strong fight from the freshman who just came short to the seniors in many overtime’s. On the other end of the field, the juniors came out with a strong win against the sophomores. The seniors and juniors then went head-to-head in the championship game both putting their best on the field and giving it their all. However, the Juniors came out on top once again, and the seniors finished their powder puff careers on a high playing the best they have this year. Powder puff was definitely one to remember; some girls even have the casts and bandages to prove it.

It’s never too early to start thinking about what you may want for yourself beyond high school. Here at LCHS there are many opportunities to do so. There have been several colleges visiting LCHS with their reps. This is a great chance to learn about the school and what it has to offer. If you're interested in a school that's visiting, make sure to contact your counselor for an appointment. Here is a list of things to get started. Match Common App and Naviance Accounts, communicate with teachers about letters of recommendation, go to college websites to know deadlines, start researching scholarship opportunities, and begin writing college essays. 

My school has recently built a state of the art media center and news studio! I have been learning how to work a real world news studio with new cameras, teleprompters, hyper decks, sound boards, and more!
