High school students graduating between August 2025 - May 2026 are required by the State of Illinois to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aide (FAFSA), the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, or the Non-Participation Waiver before they can be awarded a high school diploma.

FAFSA Informational Presentation
School counselors Sara Sisk and Erin Varner along with Bailey Nickerson, Financial Aid Coordinator at Heartland Community College and Tecola Campbell, ISAC Coordinator, will host a FAFSA Information and Completion Night for seniors and their families on Monday, November 10th. Completion information will be shared in the LCHS Auditorium from 5:30-6:15 pm.
Afterward, interested families could participate in a COMPLETION session in the LCHS Auditorium lobby beginning at 6:15 p.m. As assistance is limited, an RSVP is required.
