High school students graduating between August 2024 - May 2025 are required by the State of Illinois to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aide (FAFSA), the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, or the Non-Participation Waiver before they can be awarded a high school diploma.

School counselors Sara Sisk and Erin Varner along with Bailey Nickerson, Financial Aid Coordinator at Heartland Community College, hosted a FAFSA Information Night for seniors and their families on Tuesday, December 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in the LCHS Auditorium. In person attendance was encouraged. Information is also posted below.
