Construction of a new primary and post-primary school on a beautiful site in Ennistymon. The design includes a 'corkscrew' access road to traverse the congested site overcoming a level difference of approximately 15 metres.
The campus works include the phased construction of a new three-storey 8,500m2 Post Primary School and a two-storey 1,400m2 Primary School together with substantial site development works and associated demolitions and alterations, at the Lahinch Road, Ennistymon, Co. Clare.

The proposed site for both the new schools is on an elevated plateau, adjacent to the current live Scoil Mhuire Girls Secondary School and Scoil Mhaincin Primary School, located on the west side of Ennistymon town and is to be accessible off the N67 Lahinch Road.Â
The proposed development includes in phases: (i) the construction of the new post primary school building and associated site works with the provision of temporary accommodation and demolition of existing buildings; (ii) the construction of the new primary school building and associated site works, demolition of existing buildings and the removal of all temporary prefabricated buildings, on completion of the new school building. A separate competition will be conducted by the Contracting Authority and identify the Mechanical and Electrical Reserved Specialists.
