Hannah Dyksterhouse

I love teaching at LCCS! I have taught for 8 years, 5 of those years being in Arizona. I am a native Texan and a graduate from UT - Arlington. I have my undergraduate degree in Music Theory, coupled with classes in math and science. After graduating, I went back and received my teaching certificate. I am a certified teacher in both Texas and Arizona, with certifications in music and math. I am also a certified Physics instructor through The University of Texas in Austin. I have my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction, and am currently working on my PhD from Grand Canyon University in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition and Instruction.

I am married and have three children, Sophia (7), Tinsley (5), and Elijah (2). I enjoy being active in my free time. I have played 9 different instruments, am scuba certified, and used to show jump.

I LOVE teaching. I will do everything and anything in my power to help and reach my students. It is by the grace of God that I can say teaching is my passion and my calling. I have an Instagram account and you are more then welcome to follow me. I love to connect with my families through social media... however, I will warn you.. it is just a ton of pictures of my beautiful children!!!!

If you email me, you will hear back a lot faster then if you call me. I share classrooms with another teacher, and if my class isn't going on, I can guarantee you another class is... and with that being said I can email someone more readily then calling them back!
