Parents may coordinate with the teacher or main office before noon to have their student’s make-up work picked up. Please remember that teachers are busy during the day and may not be available to gather materials for you immediately.
Elementary students have the same number of days as the number of days absent to complete any make up work given. After that, penalties will be assigned due to late or missing work
It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements with the teacher about work that was or will be missed during an absence.
FACTS SIS & Canvas makes it very easy for students and their parents to check the day’s assignments and class work. The student has the same number of class periods as the number missed in which to make up the work.
Students are expected to plan ahead. This is especially necessary with major projects, tests, athletic events, Research papers and major class projects are due at the beginning of class on the assigned date.
Work that is missed because of an athletic event or other co-curricular activity is not considered make-up work. It is expected that students complete their work and turn it in on time.
When a student has been absent several days prior to the end of the semester or quarter, an incomplete (I) may be recorded on the student’s grade card. An incomplete should be addressed in a timely manner.
