Report cards are sent out on a quarterly basis. While parents can see real time progress of a student's grades via the Canvas Parent App, one progress report will be sent out at the mid-point of each quarter. Credit for High School courses is determined per semester with a weight of 40% being given to each quarter and 20% to the semester exam.

The senior with the highest cumulative weighted average upon completion of the first semester of the senior year will be recognized as the class valedictorian for graduation purposes. The senior with the second highest cumulative weighted average will be designated as the class salutatorian. Valedictorian and Salutatorian awards are based on the first seven semesters, five of which must have been attended at LCCS, including the senior year, by the time the awards are announced.
