At Lake Country Christian School we believe that tuition payments are an investment in a child’s education and in the formation of their spiritual foundation. The School Leadership accepts responsibility for the development of tuition policy, including policies concerning tuition rates and the manner of payment. It is also the responsibility of School Leadership to ensure that adequate financial resources are available for the school to carry out its mission in a sustainable manner so that Christian education is available to those that desire the spiritual atmosphere for their children. The LCCS Core Value of Partnership with Parents provides a spiritual and financial basis for biblical stewardship of the school’s resources. It is expected that parents will see their financial commitment to LCCS as an investment into the Kingdom of God that impacts the hearts of all the school’s stakeholders.
Fees
Registration Fees are those such as Application Fee, LCCS Enrollment Fee, International Student Fee, FACTS enrollment fee and Heritage Fund. The application fee is due at the time the application is submitted; the other fees are due upon enrollment. Heritage Fund is required to be paid in full in the month of May for current and newly enrolled LCCS families. If enrolling after May, the Heritage Fund is to be paid 10 days after enrollment. FACTS enrollment fee is paid directly to FACTS and due 10 days after tuition agreement is finalized.
These fees are non-refundable. Students are not allowed to attend classes until these fees are paid in full.
• Finance fees for monthly payment plans will be assessed at $20/month for 10-month plans and $25/month for 12- month plans to be paid correspondingly with tuition payments via FACTS.
• Specific activity-related fees will be assessed based upon a student’s participation in various school-related or extracurricular activities (e.g. athletics, fine arts, class trips). Payment for these fees will be assessed through your FACTS account. These fees must be paid in full to participate in each specific activity. Fees are subject to change.
• Learning Lab fees for students enrolled in Learning Lab are determined each year by the Learning Lab Director during the student’s annual Educational Care Plan (ECP). In the event of unenrollment or change in services, all fees for the academic year are subject to be owed.
Tuition Payments
Tuition is paid by one of four options via FACTS, an online tuition management solution utilized by LCCS:
1. A Full Payment due in July via FACTS. A five percent (5%) full pay discount is available.
2. Two Equal Payments in July and January via FACTS. If enrolling after July, the first payment is due immediately and second payment is due in January.
3. Ten-month payment plan: The first FACTS tuition payment is on July 5th or 20th based on your selection at enrollment and last payment is in April. A finance fee of $20 per month will be assessed.
4. Twelve-month payment plan: The first FACTS tuition payment is on July 5th or 20th based on your selection at enrollment and last payment is in June. Payments must begin in July to participate in the 12-month plan. A finance fee of $25 per month will be assessed. Senior students are not eligible for the 12-month option. All Senior accounts must be paid in full and clear by April 30th .
New families enrolled after July 20th can choose one of the following depending on their date of enrollment: Full Payment, Two Payment or a monthly Payment Plan ending in April or June. A monthly finance fee will be assessed for monthly payment plans; $20/month ending in April or $25/month ending in June. Payments must be completed by June 30th of the school year enrolled (unless they have a senior student, in which case it must be paid by April 30th).
Families are required to utilize FACTS online tuition management and maintain an active status with Auto Pay.
International Student Tuition is required to be paid in full upon enrollment.
Tuition accounts must be current for all students before the first day of school. No student may attend classes on the first day of school if their tuition account is not current.
It is important to note that student records will be held until tuition accounts and any outstanding fees are paid in full.
Returned Payment Fees
FACTS will assess a fee for insufficient electronic fund transfers in addition to the NSF charge made by your bank. FACTS will make two additional attempts to submit the payment. Families who fall behind in their payments may be subject to fines or asked to withdraw their children from LCCS until their account is current. All remaining balances will still be due.
Any returned checks to the LCCS Business Office may incur an additional charge.
Tuition Contract
Enrollment at LCCS is a binding contract and therefore the family will still be subject to pay the full tuition as agreed to in this contract.
Withdrawal, Refunds, and Tuition Release Schedule
The tuition contract of Lake Country Christian School is binding. After the contract is executed, the payor is obligated to pay the entire amount of the contract in adherence to the Tuition Release Schedule which is provided below. Lake Country Christian School is financially committed to pay staff and provide an education for its students for the full school year. The withdrawal of a student does not alter that financial commitment which is based upon the tuition contracts of all students who are enrolled for the school year.
Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via the Request to Withdraw form.
No refunds will be given of monies paid toward tuition.
Students will be automatically re-enrolled at LCCS unless notice is given to the Admissions Department during the enrollment opt-out period and prior to the enrollment opt-out date which is to be communicated yearly.
Lake Country Christian School admits students regardless of race, color, or national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Lake Country Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school administered programs.
