Lake Country Christian School does not provide credit recovery or summer school courses.
Grades 5-8:
If a student's year-end average in a major subject falls below 70, the student must complete summer school or an LCCS-approved tutorial through an accredited institution in order to be re-admitted. Major subjects include Math, English, Bible, Science, History, and Literature/Reading.
Grades 9-12:
If a student fails one semester of an academic course (below a 70), credit recovery through an approved vendor, either in summer school or online, must be completed by August 1 for re-admission. Credits are accrued ½ credit per semester. Credit recovery plans must be approved by the academic team prior to enrolling in the course.
Students are not permitted to take a summer school or online course in lieu of taking the equivalent course at LCCS. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances but must have written approval of the school administration prior to enrolling in the course.
