Academic Ineligibility

Academic Ineligibility

Students placed on the ineligible list are not permitted to fully participate in any LCCS extracurricular activities. Academic reports will be reviewed weekly. Students failing one or more classes at the time of a report will have one week to raise their grades to a passing level to remain eligible.

If a student does not achieve passing grades within this timeframe, they will be deemed ineligible. To regain eligibility, students must pass all their classes within two weeks. However, ineligibility lasts a minimum of two weeks, even if grades improve sooner.

During the ineligibility period, the following restrictions apply:

• Participation in all school-related extracurricular competitions and performances

• Participation in extracurricular travel

Students may still attend practices during the athletics period and after school while ineligible.
