April 9- Level Up Day- students will spend some time in their new 4th grade classroom!

May 21- Last Day of School- 1/2 day
Bible:
We will be reading the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones. It is stories from the Bible written and illustrated for children. We will begin with the Old Testament. We will read/watch and discuss each day.
English: Ch. 12- Writing a Friendly letter
Math: Ch. 14- Counting money, adding and subtracting money, multi step word problems
Science: Exploring God's World-
Ch. 7- Exploring the Animal Kingdom
History/Geography: We will be learning the 50 states and where they are located on the map!
Reviewing our first 3 set of states. Quiz Thursday.
**STATE REPORT- each student chose a state to do their report on. It is a packet in which they will fill out information based on their state. They will need parental guidance as they will need to access the internet or check out library books. The report is due Tuesday, March 24!!
Spelling: List 22- honest, hour, doorknob, kneeling, psalm, wrinkle, written, castle, whistle, answer
Reading- Reading Comprehension
Reading Vocabulary-
AR- Everyone's goal is 7 the third 9 weeks. They also have personal goals that are much higher. Way to be confident 3rd grade!!!

English- Ch. 12 Quiz
History/Science- Open notes- quiz; States Test- Review
** Chapter Tests will be given every other week. Reviews will be sent home in binder that week.
** Homework: Fluency page, math facts, and spelling words each week as needed. If work is not completed in class, it will be sent home as homework.
A review worksheet for Math and English Chapter Test will be sent home the week of the test. *These tests will be every other week.
