I am thrilled to join the Lincoln County community. My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to develop a lifelong love of learning! With several years of teaching experience, I am passionate about making history engaging, meaningful, and connected to the world around us.

I look forward to exploring the continents of Africa and Asia this year with my students. My love of travel has taken me to several countries and numerous states, and hope to share those experiences to help bring history and geography to life.

I was born in Augusta, GA but grew up in  Shreveport, LA. I currently travel multiple times a year to go "home" which is now Arlington, TX. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. You can usually catch us at the lake on the weekends. I love the beach, kayaking, reading a good book, and gardening. I am a proud mother of three precious children ages 8, 4, and 3. Two of them will be making the exciting transition with me to Lincoln County! I feel truly blessed and grateful for this community and LC team to have welcomed me with open arms this year. 

I am looking forward to getting to know your precious child and family this year. And I  look forward to parterning with you so that we can have a wonderful school year filled with discovery, curiosity, and a shared excitement for learning about the people, places, and cultures that have shaped our world!
