Upcoming Events

If  you are in either of my math or ELA classes, lucky for you.  You have 2 certified teachers in your ELA and/ or  Math class.  As co-teachers in these classes, we work together to create strong lessons and activities to enhance your learning opportunities in ELA and Math. I will also be co-teaching in Science during first semester and Ga History during second semester.  With 2 certified teachers working together, we are able to give more one-on-one and small group teaching to improve each student's understanding of the material being taught. Math and ELA will be the focus of our Study Skills class lessons throughout the year.   If we have time, we will also work on Science and Social Studies test reviews before a big test.  The key to your child's success is how much effort your child gives and the attitude he or she brings with him.

The best way to contact me is through my e mail: brice@lcboe.us.  I will also have Remind 101 for my Study Skills class. I will send home the code for my Remind with students in my Study Skills class and add a link to my Google Classroom in case a student loses the Remind log in code. You may also call the school and leave a message for me to return your call when I am not teaching.

This will be my 24th year teaching at LCMS. My original certification is in Middle Grades Math and ELA.  Since then, I have added  Reading, Special Education, and Gifted Learner to my teacher certifications.  I grew up in Augusta, and I have lived in Appling for 30+ years.   In that time, my husband and I have raised 2 children and are proud grandparents of 2 precious girls.   We love spending time with our family and friends, going out on our boat and spending as much vacation time as possible at the beach.  (Almost any beach will do.)

I am a firm believer that positive attitude leads to better learners and greater success.   This  strongly influences the way I teach.  I want my students smiling while learning.   If you pay attention and do your part, you will enjoy succeeding in the classroom. I feel blessed to teach at LCMS and work with such dedicated professionals who truly care about our students.  I choose to teach where we have a tradition of academic excellence and small town values.  I love the tight knit community of Lincoln County that I haven´t found anywhere else.
