MARRIAGE & FAMILY COUNSELING is three courses in one: Unity in Marriage, Parenting by Faith, and Singleness, Dating & Pre-martial. It weds sound biblical theology with years of practical counseling experience as it equips counselors and families with the same insights and assignments that have been used at the center to restore relationships and transform lives. There are 28 sessions in all but you can register for any of the three courses separately.

Participate live at the center (Charleston, SC), live online (via Youtube Live stream) or add the on-demand option to watch or re-watch sessions at your own pace. This course is part of our A.C.B.C. and I.A.B.C. certified training. It is useful for both those who are in need of hope and direction, as well as those who desire to give hope and direction. The course includes 300-page manual full of outlines and change assignments used weekly in counseling at the center.

Genesis 2:24 - "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."
The "Unity in Marriage" Course is in two sections, 1) "God and Me in Marriage", and 2) "Two Becoming One". The "God and Me" section will teach you how to join God as he is working to change you in your marriage. The "Two Becoming One" section will teach you how to join God as he is working to promote unity in your marriage. In 16 sessions you will be equipped with the same key insights that have been used by God at the Center to restore the love and teamwork of many marriages. The soil of your marriage will be saturated with biblical insights and practical tools that can revitalize your own heart and marriage and, at the same time, equip you to intensively disciple those in need of marital help. Couple’s who attend often give testimony like the following, “We could not believe how deeply the Holy Spirit spoke to our hearts about changes we needed to make … we were forever impacted.”

The “Parenting by Faith: Eight Essentials” course has eight sessions devoted to helping you understand and apply eight essentials of parenting as per Ephesians 6:4. The first section focuses on getting your heart in tune as a parent and the last four focuses on biblical child training principles and methods.

The Singleness, Dating & Premarital Counseling course is a four-session course that gives God’s counsel to the single on handling the blessings, challenges, and temptations of singleness victoriously. It also provides the student with biblical insights in deciding if it is God's will to marry, as well as preparing for the blessings of marriage.
