A work permit is a legal document required for anyone under the age of 18, who wants to pursue employment. Your work permit will be issued by Jordan and will indicate the duties and location where the work will be done as well as the number of hours a minor may work.

The College and Career Center can issue your work permit; however, the student must first meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 14 years old (if you're 18 you do not need to get a work permit)

• Hours may not interfere with school

• Minimum of a 2.0 GPA
