I have taught for 15 years. Seven of those years have been at Jordan High School. This school year, I teach AP Literature and Composition, CSU Expository Reading and Writing Course, and English Language Arts 5-6.
My instruction helps students to thinking and learn deeply in order to improve as communicators. Learners read with depth, ask questions, solve problems, write with meaning and significance, and give engaging oral presentations. Additionally, learners reflect on their own work, receive and give feedback, and improve their work. As a result, learners use language as a tool to acquire knowledge, deepen understanding, and sharpen skills.
