Our Story
Launched in 2016, our project began as an initiative to bring together professionals working on the Social Integration Service (SIS) program across the Greater Montreal Area. The creation of the QSVIP (formerly QCSVI) website has since evolved into a valuable platform for educators across the province. It enables them to share and refine pedagogical strategies and approaches for teaching students with special needs, cultivating a thriving professional learning community across various school boards.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower educators, foster collaboration, and enhance the educational experience of students with special needs by providing innovative tools, resources, and support. We are committed to promoting social integration, personal growth, and academic success through personalized, inclusive, and holistic approaches in education.

What is the QSVIP Network?
We are a dedicated group of consultants and educators specializing in the Social Participation and Sociovocational Integration program. Our primary mission is to collaborate closely, aiming to improve educational outcomes for students with special needs. This team combines expertise in curriculum development, special education methods, and individualized support plans to ensure that every student receives personalized instruction and resources. Together, we foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment where social integration, personal growth, and academic success are prioritized for all students in the program.

Thank You

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of this project. A special thank you to RÉCIT for making this provincial initiative possible and for their unwavering support in developing Open Educational Resources (OER) for the Quebec General Adult Education community across the 9 English school boards. Your dedication and collaboration have been instrumental in helping us build a more inclusive, supportive educational environment for all. We also extend our gratitude to the educators, consultants, and staff who continually share their expertise, passion, and commitment to improving the lives of students with special needs. Your efforts make a difference every day.
