Our Professional Development and Innovation Grant (PDIG), "Building an Inclusive Community," provided release time to assemble a team to collaboratively design a path forward as we gradually move into our new campus. Both the pandemic and our move have provided us with the opportunity to reconsider our collective values and school culture as we establish the foundational principles that will be at the core of our new centre. An additional impetus for this project stems from our developing consciousness of, and engagement with, issues of accessibility, equity, and social justice.

LBP Continuing Education is organizing sector-wide professional development over the course of the school year, and the choice board below will serve as a complement to this PD and also broader initiatives at our school board -- all building upon the important groundwork undertaken last year by the Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion.

The choice board below is dynamic and will be updated throughout the school year and the PDIG committee welcomes suggestions for additional media, activities, and lessons.
