BELLA is a laser-driven proton source run by the ATAP division at Berkeley Lab. We were able to try out proton irradiation of peptides in solution to test oxidation effects. A huge thanks to Lotti and Jared and the rest of the team at BELLA, who all put in some very late nights to help with this experiment.
