EXPECTED IMPACTS

Traffic

• During certain phases of the project construction truck traffic and lane closures on Alvarez Road will impact vehicle traffic and shuttle schedules.

• Large or wide trucks or equipment will necessitate the closure of Blackberry Gate for several hours. Notifications will be sent directing traffic to use Strawberry Gate during closures.

• There will be increased construction equipment and personnel along Alvarez Road from October 2021 through early 2025.

Parking

• The Bayview parking lot will remain closed throughout construction.

• The Blackberry Lot D (The Pit) has been identified for contractor parking overflow (vehicles unable to fit within project laydown). Use caution around construction vehicles and equipment in this area.

Noise, Vibrations, and Dust

• The construction activities will be disruptive.

• Expected noise will range from heavy construction equipment use to pile drilling related activities to steel erection.

• Although dust control measures will be employed by the contractor, there will be some level of dust generated by the project.
