Held October 8-9, 2025 in Berkeley, California, the NERSC User Group (NUG) Annual Meeting is an opportunity for the entire NERSC community to gather to share information and research achievements, as well as learn about the upcoming NERSC system and network with colleagues.
This event is organized by NERSC Staff and the NUG Executive Committee.
This meeting will be held in-person in Berkeley, CA, onsite at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
In-Person attendees must register by Friday, Sept. 12th, 2025 at 5pm PDT.
Online-only Registration will remain open until Monday October 6th, 2025.
Those who cannot attend in-person will have the option to view it remotely via Zoom. The entire meeting will be recorded with slides and recordings made available as soon as possible.
Join us for a special, in-depth presentation about NERSC's upcoming system, Doudna, followed by a panel-style question and answer session with NERSC experts. Bring questions about how you and your colleagues can prepare to best utilize this novel, state-of-the-art system as soon as it comes online in 2026.
NERSC staff will also present about updates to the Itegrated Research Infrastruction (IRI) project.
Lastly, join us for several NERSC user-contributed talks about the scientific research that is made possible by our current system, Perlmutter. Learn about how these scientists make full use of the powerful Nvidia GPUs and AMD CPUs for their scientific work, with plenty of time to ask questions and discuss techniques with peers.
The deadline to register for in-person attendance is Friday, September 12th at 5 p.m. PDT (UTC-7).
