Postdoc/Student Safety

New workers, including Students, Grad Student Research Assistants (GSRAs), and postdocs (PDs) are at greater risk of injury due in part to being in a new setting and not being fully integrated into the Lab’s processes and procedures. This group has been involved in some of the most severe incidents at LBNL.

EH&S is seeking to partner with science and operations divisions to develop and implement a lab-wide strategy to reduce the risk of injury to workers, with an emphasis on new workers, including Students, Grad Student Research Assistants, and Postdocs.

Please send feedback, ideas/suggestions, questions to LabSafety@lbl.gov
