Follow the Guidance and collaborate with other users
Find a Station & Reserve on Calendar (see below)
Display Required EV Permit on dashboard provided at signup
(get a replacement)
Use only the timeslot and station you reserved
Payment for Usage is through Xeal (Level 2) or Paycheck (Level 1)
Failure to follow the above requirements may result in a parking citation
Only Staff & Affiliates (following guidance above) are authorized to use these stations.
Please limit usage! EV Stations are limited and in very high demand.
Users accept responsibility for any risks associated with use of the workplace charging stations.
Government Vehicle Charging is managed by Fleet: fleet@lbl.gov
EV Stations at off-Hill locations are not managed by the Lab

Xeal Level 2 charging stations --
Are open to Employees and Affiliates in the charging program.
Require Xeal signup (use your lbl.gov email and provide a payment method)
Require following the EV program guidance, as with all stations.
Are indicated in the Station List below, and by the hardware pictured here.
To Use --
Tap your phone to Start your session. Have the app open as you end it.
You will be charged for usage through Xeal based on kW used (see Rates).
An Access Code is NOT required. If you are prompted for a code:
Ensure you have a valid, current payment method (e.g., credit card) in the Xeal app
Update the App, log out and back in, and restart your phone

All LVL2 Stations require signup and payment through Xeal, in addition to Program Membership
Charging hardware has J1772 plug; Teslas need an standard adaptor - ensure it is seated firmly
Grouped stations are numbered Left-to-Right as you approach by car (e.g., 76-EVC-LVL2-1, 76-EVC-LVL2-2)
