Elements: Comment Policy

• There is a 200-word limit for each comment.

• The comment feature can only be used by Lab employees who disclose their full, real names.

• We foster a culture of respect and collaboration for everyone in our community and advance principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accountability. For more details, visit the Stewardship website and Organizational Culture page.

• For the benefit of healthy discussion, we ask that comments remain on topic, appropriate, civil, and relevant. This means that comments should add value to the conversation that is being discussed within that post.

• Comments cannot promote a business.

• We expect conversations to follow the rules of polite discourse and that comments comply with the Lab’s Ethics and Conduct Policy.

• If a comment is flagged to be potentially offensive, an Elements community manager will review and contact the poster to discuss and follow up. We reserve the right to delete comments or posts that we deem are abusive, inflammatory or otherwise inappropriate.

• The opinions, statements, and viewpoints expressed in comments do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Berkeley Lab or constitute an official position of the Lab.
