This year's Annual Workshop for the EE HPC WG focuses on energy efficiency and sustainability for large scale, high-density HPC as well as AI. The workshop engages a broad spectrum of participants. Participants & speakers from facilities and operationally-focused fields, as well as computer engineers and architects, are being included. This ensures more lively discussions and drives sharing of knowledge and lessons learned.
The two-day virtual workshop will start with an informal conversation that is future looking and focussed on HPC, AI and sustainability hosted by Dan Reed with David Patterson and Nic Dube. It will be followed by technical sessions on water management, software power management experiences, HPC and AI large scale and high density facility infrastructures, and alternative grid power sources like batteries and small nuclear power plants.
This is an annual workshop since 2010. Presentations from prior year's workshops are posted on the EE HPC WG website.
