How to get there: The Residence Inn is just a short walk from the Downtown BART stop at the Berkeley city center. If you are flying, the most convenient options are: San Francisco International Airport (SFO) as well as Oakland International Airport (OAK). There are many direct flights from major US cities to these airports. The BART system then connects each of these airports to the Downtown BART stop. It will take between 30-45 min from OAK and about an hour from SFO. Additionally, services such as Uber and Lyft are also available and can bring you directly to the venue.

Poster session: The poster session on Thursday Oct 24 will be held at ICSI, a short walk from the Residence Inn. The poster session will be held from 16:45 with light appetizers and drinks.

Friday, October 25

Location: Berkeley Lab, 50-4-Auditorium

Check-in time: 9:00 AM

How to get there: From the Downtown Berkeley BART stop you can take the Lab provided shuttle (the Blue shuttle) that runs about every 15 minutes from the BART stop to the lab. The shuttle is free, but you need to let the driver know that you are visiting the Lab. If you requested site access, you will receive more information regarding documents and the confirmation email you need to bring at the day of the event. The shuttle stop downtown is just outside of the BART station. More information about Maps and Transportation are here. The workshop will be held at Building 50 Auditorium, the closest stop to the auditorium is at B91 from the blue shuttle.

Parking: If you drive to the Lab, there are different parking spots you can use while attending the event. You can find the parking spots here. The parking spots at C1 tagged with E, just after the gate, often have many open spots. The spot marked as H1 at C2 in the map is the closest to the auditorium.
