The experimental station for Spin-Resolved ARPES is equipped with the latest Scienta-Omicron DA-30 spectrometer, featuring two VLEED detectors that enable full spin mapping of electrons along all axes. The spectrometer was delivered in the summer of 2019, with installation and initial commissioning occurring during the challenging period of the COVID-19 lockdowns. The first general users began accessing the instrument in 2021, and since then, the number of user proposals has been steadily increasing

Currently, the instrument is stationed at Beamline 10.0.1.2. It is expected to be relocated to Beamline 4.0.3 as part of the upgrade of the Advanced Light Source to a diffraction-limited synchrotron facility (ALS-U)
