The ALICE-USA Computing project was conceived in 2008 as a vehicle for the DOE funded ALICE-USA collaboration to provide computing resources to ALICE within the US in order to meet its obligations to the international collaboration. The project started to operate in 2009.

Today we operate to Tier 2 sites for ALICE collaboration, at LBL and ORNL
