Site Access

All attendees' names will be forwarded to the Berkeley Lab Site Access Office in advance of the meeting. For those of you who will be driving, you may double-park in front of the Guest House while checking in. The Front Desk will issue you a special parking permit, and they will direct you to the reserved parking spaces located in the "Z" parking lot across from the Guest House.

Airport Shuttle

Shuttles are available between the San Francisco and Oakland airports, and the Guest House at Berkeley Lab. See BayPorterExpress for more information.

Bay Area Rapid Transit

BART offers service from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the "Downtown Berkeley" BART station. BART schedules and other information can be found at: http://www.bart.gov/ . After exiting the Downtown Berkeley BART station, the LBNL shuttle bus stop is located on the east side of Shattuck Ave., next to the Bank of America.

Berkeley Lab Shuttle Service

Important: If you plan on riding the lab shuttle, please contact Mayra Rivas to request a Shuttle Pass. You will not be allowed to board the shuttle without one.

Blue Route Shuttle:

The Berkeley Lab Blue Route shuttle runs every 12 minutes from the Downtown Berkeley BART station to the lab. It picks up passengers from various stops in downtown Berkeley. For locations, please refer to the RouteMap.

Note that the lab shuttle stop closest to BART is located at the corner of Addison Street and Shattuck Avenue, on the same side as (and next to) the Bank of America. See map of downtown Berkeley showing the location of the Bank of America building relative to the BART station.

The shuttle stops will all be marked with the Berkeley Lab shuttle bus sign.

- To get to building 15, get off at the B52 shuttle stop, walk down the hill towards building 6 (large pink building). Walk around bldg. 6 and then in between bldg. 6 and 2. Walk through parking lot y towards bldg 15. (parking lot See Grid C3 on site map or view interactive site map.

Orange Route Shuttle:
