Week of 9/2/25
The first week of Kindergarten is so much fun! We spend time learning procedures and routines. We get to know each other and creat a classroom contract that we all sign. We discuss how we are a classroom family and shared our All About Me bags. We are excited to be a part of the Kindergarten Crew!
Week of 9/8/25
Welcome to Kindergarten Bootcamp! This week we will work on certification in six skills: crayons, markers, pencils, play doh, scissors and glue. We believe that children work best in a structured classroom and benefit from clear expectations, repetition and the safety and comfort of routine. When they know exactly what to expect and how to accomplish tasks they feel confident and proud. When they feel that way they are more apt to attempt new things and step out of their comfort zones when new material is introduced. That’s where the growth comes from. We are so proud of our crew and can’t wait to see the rest of their growth this year.
Congratulations Kindergarten Crew Cadets!
