Reading Skills & Strategies: Ask and answer questions, topics and details

Math: We will begin Topic 4 - Essential Question: How can numbers 0-10 be compared and ordered

Social Studies: We will begin a study of Native Americans and incorporate thematic projects 

Project: We will create a watercolor sunset and a Native American Rain stick.

Social Studies: We will begin a study of the pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving.  This theme will be incorporated into our projects.  

Project: We will create a a thankful quilt and several listening activities.

Math: We will complete Topic 4 - Essential Question: How can numbers 0-10 be compared and ordered

Week of 11/24/25

As we head into this short week before the holiday, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy Thanksgiving!


Reading & Writing: We will introduce the "H Brother sounds".  We will continue to read stories about Thanksgiving and being thankful 

Word Work: Sight word and letter sound review.  

Math:we will begin Topic 5 - Classifying and Counting Data Essential Question: How can classifying data help answer questions? 

Social Studies: We will continue our discussions about Native Americans, Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving.
