On Thursday, the Kindergarten Crew boarded a flight to Disney World!! Upon arrival we hopped on the Magical Express, received our Magic Bands and made our very own Mickey and Minnie ears!  We were so excited to go to each of the parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  Once in the parks, we fast passed our way on to several exciting rides!  We had a snack of Mickey Waffles (courtesy of Wally's LBI) while watching the Magic Kingdom Fireworks show. We ended our vacation with a Disney Dance Party!

We made Magical Disney Memories as we celebrated the end of our Kindergarten Year!

On Friday, the Kindergarten Crew boarded a flight to Hawaii!!  Upon arrival, we were given a traditional lei before touring the island.  We had fun learning how to hula dance!  We made our own snorkeling masks and had a blast exploring the waters and coral reefs.  We relaxed with some traditional Hawaiian music and a snack of shaved ice (courtesy of Rita's Surf City).

We didn't want to leave the island or our classroom but it was time to say ALOHA and start our summer break!  It was a great ending to our Kindergarten Year!

Spring is here!  We have been learning about Spring weather, plants and flowers.  We worked hard on two craft projects - our flower garden flowers and our rainbow garden!  You can see our flowers displayed at the Ocean County Library in Surf City.  Please click below for the slideshow of our work as well!

Today we took a "virtual field trip" to the zoo, listened to a story about the zoo and worked as teams to engineer our own zoo!

Today during math we  completed the Holiday STEM Challenge.  We worked in teams to choose different holiday related objects and  recreate them using wooden blocks, duplos or legos.

This activity required us to work cooperatively, think critically, problem solve, be flexible, and listen to one another in order to accomplish this task.

It was so much fun! Check out our amazing creations! We can't wait to do this again!

Today was a fun playdoh math day!

We used playdoh to form numbers and make counters to match.
