Meet Mrs.James!

Welcome! My name is Kayla James. I live in Lawson with my husband Taylor and our 3 children. We have a daughter that is a sophmore in college and twin boys in 8th grade. I am from Georgia, you might can tell by the way I talk! This is my 1st year in the Title I Reading classroom. I am in my 18th year of teaching and I have experience teaching all things literacy to grades PreK-4. I grew up in a small town in Georgia and received my undergraduate and Master‘s degree while living there. I am currently wrapping up my specialist degree at Northwest Missouri State University.
