5th Grade Class Rules
(Trout, Koeberl, Nutter, Morris)
1. Students are expected to bring required materials to class:
pencil, paper, Cardinal Planner, text, and completed assignment.
2. Students are expected to have their assignment completed on time.
3. Students are expected to complete each assignment to the best of
their ability.
4. Students are expected to respect each other and their personal
property.
5. Students are expected to pick-up make-up work the day he/she
returns to school for all missed classes. Blue sheets will be filled out by each core teacher. All make-up work must be completed and returned the first day of the following week. Adjustments to this schedule may occur to meet deadlines for grading periods.
6. Four “Accountability/Behavior Stars” will be stamped into the
planner daily. One star will be crossed out for each inappropriate
behavior. Inappropriate behavior will be any behavior that breaks
school rules or any behavior that interrupts or delays the teaching/
learning process (includes breaking the chain of communication).
Any student losing all 4 stars within one day will serve an 8th hour.
7. Students with missing work will receive a yellow sheet to be filled out
with what is missing by the student. Yellow sheets will be stapled in the
planner for the parents to look at AND SIGN over the weekend. Any
work listed on the yellow sheet needs to be completed immediately. IF a
student does not have a signature on the yellow sheet on Monday, he/she
will receive and 8th hour.
