Mr. Mayne has a passion for good teaching, good food, good sports, and good fun. He has a Bachelor's Degree in History Teaching from Brigham Young University (Go Cougars!!), with minors in Agronomy and PE Teaching/Coaching. He also has earned a Masters of American History and Government through Ashland University (I think they had a mascot, but it was my masters, and I don't remember). He has spent years upon years studying the Founding of America, the later 1800's, and the American West. In his view, there are few things of more importance than learning about who we are, where we came from, and where we are going. Knowing who we are and how we got here provides a foundation that good citizens often cannot thrive without. Plus, that American West part, is rather fitting since Mr. Mayne grew up on a cattle ranch in the mountains of Colorado and continues to raise livestock on his small family farm. He Loves his Amazing wife (she's really, really cute), Five incredible kids (talk about being super blessed - they are incredible), his Faith (it's my anchor in everything), his Cowboy lifestyle (how can you not be impressed by The Duke?), and while it is terribly unpopular to say this close to Kansas City, the Denver Broncos (remember - I grew up in Colorado).

Every day is the perfect day to be on the beach, by a waterfall, or in the mountains. Can't really do all 3 at the same time here in Missouri, but it would be nice.
