Creative Writing will focus on expressive writing in multiple genres, styles, and techniques. Students will read, critique, and compose short works of fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and much more. To build strong writing skills, students will participate in peer reviews, workshops, and collaborative projects to receive constructive feedback from their peers and the instructor. By the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of original writing and enhanced confidence in creative expression. Publishing will be highly encouraged as students develop their portfolios.
