Remote Teaching Best Practices

Always remember- Keep it simple and be consistent.

It's important to remember, you don't need an abundance of digital tools to be an effective remote teacher. Choose a few you and your students are comfortable with and use those to delivery your instruction, assignments, and assessments.

Take a look at the chart to the right. This is an example of the tools you need to be successful.

One curate tool- This is where you will deliver all of your materials. Your students know they will find all they need here. You can create assignments, share links, etc. from one location.

A few content tools- Choose a few content tool apps that will help you deliver your content successfully to you students. Descriptions of each of the tools listed can be found in the appropriate tab on this website.

A few create tools- These tools give students the opportunity to explain their thinking and create a product. Once again, just select a few that you can model for your students and have them comfortable with using.

One communication tool- Be consistent with communication. Be sure students and parents know how they can communicate with you.
