Multilingual Learners Family Event
Wetherbee School greeted Multilingual Learners at an event before Winter break. Families and their English language learning students reviewed their progress so far this year. Useful materials were provided in English and Spanish and families were able to have some fun together.
La escuela Wetherbee dio la bienvenida a los alumnos multilingües en un acto antes de las vacaciones de invierno. Las familias y sus alumnos que aprenden inglés repasaron sus progresos en lo que va de año. Se proporcionaron materiales útiles en inglés y español y las familias pudieron divertirse juntas.

Mayor, Superindendent & Councilor Infante Visit The Wetherbee
The Mayor of Lawrence Brian DePena, Councilor Infante, and Superintendent Paris visited the Wetherbee. They went to the cafeteria for Gr 7 & 8 lunch and spent some time outside during recess with the students. They also stopped in one classroom, art, and music.

Merrimack Music Brings Instruments
On September 28, Merrimack Music gave middle school students an instrument demonstration during lunch. Students were invited to sign up to learn an instrument!

8th Grader Sings National Anthem
Wetherbee 8th grader, Carolina Sanchez, sang the National Anthem at the dedication of the new Riverwalk Stadium. Governor Baker and many other state and local politicians and business owners came out to see the rooftop stadium where Pop Warner Football, Beyond Soccer and other teams will have a chance to play.
La alumna de 8 grado de Wetherbee, Carolina Sánchez, cantó el Himno Nacional en la inauguración del nuevo estadio Riverwalk.
