Dear SES Caregivers,
We have now concluded our sixth week of school, and both staff and students are fully in school mode. This past week, administration visited all classrooms and observed some amazing activities taking place. We also held a successful building-wide Shelter-in-Place drill. Everyone at SES did a great job! Thank you for your cooperation!
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, SES students participated in a school-wide scavenger hunt focused on learning and sharing information.
Looking ahead, our Topsfield Fair field trip will take place next Friday. It is wonderful to see our students return from these experiences with such enthusiasm and appreciation. We will also host a Hispanic Heritage Month art activity at the Lawrence Public Library.
The following week, LPS will observe Indigenous Peoples’ Day, so there will be no school on Monday, October 13, 2025. Later that week, we will continue our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with an assembly featuring interactive music lessons, dancing, playing instruments, and sampling foods from different cultures.
We hope you all have a great weekend! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,
Erik Desmond
