Welcome back to Jane Addams! I am so excited to meet you (virtually for now!) and cannot wait for a great year together. This is my sixth year of teaching at JAMS, and I have loved every single minute of it. Even though we are starting the year much different than normal, I look forward to getting to know you and learn about you as a math student and as a person.

In the spirit of getting to know eachother, here are some facts about me:
I was born in Inglewood
I attended UC Santa Barbara, graduating in 2009. I got my bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and then got my Teaching Credential at Cal State Dominguez Hills a few years after.
My favorite activities include: Soccer, Running, Cooking, Guitar, Drumming, and Skateboarding.
Every year I enjoy traveling to Mexico, specifically Morelia, Michoacan to visit family and eat all sorts of delicious food. Unfortunately this summer I could not, so instead I spent a lot of my time on my favorite activities.
I am a HUGE Lakers fan. Although soccer is my favorite sport to play, basketball is my favorite to watch.
I am so excited for this year and cannot wait to actually see you in person. Until then, I look forward to our Zoom meetings, emails, and chats!
