IB Middle Years Programme

Estrella Foothills Global Academy is a fully authorized IB Wold School. Currently, all students in grades 6-8th, are part of our IB Middle Years Programme. Through this program, students participate in inquiry-based learning that involves higher level thinking skills and comprehensive projects that involve real-world learning experiences. 

An IB program aims to develop internationally-minded learners, working within a global context. An IB program has a strong world language component which allows our students to choose taking either Mandarin or Spanish for all 3 years of the program. 

The learner profile for IB is the IB mission statement translated into a set of of learning outcomes for the 21st century.
