The Student 2 Student Success Program will compensate and provide training for young Angelenos who tutor their siblings or school-aged relatives living in their household.

The annual Asian Pacific Youth Leadership Project (APYLP) conference provides a select group of 50 Asian and Pacific Islander seniors and juniors from public, private and charter high schools throughout California with a unique opportunity to gain knowledge of the legislative process, community leadership, and political activism.
Small group workshops that are facilitated by Asian Pacific legislative staff, community activists, and business leaders will assist students in developing their leadership and public speaking skills, enhance their cultural awareness and identity, and explore the richness and diversity of Asian and Pacific Islander communities in California.

SCA Scholars begin by attending the two-week Summer Residential Program which provides the opportunity to experience what it is like to live among their peers and study at a private, liberal arts institution.
Students further their academic preparation by exploring issues of race, class, and gender through an interdisciplinary academic curriculum.
Participants develop their writing, critical analysis, discussion, and presentation skills under the guidance of Scripps College professors, staff, and undergraduate mentors.
In addition to the academic program, scholars attend fun and informative workshops, field trips, and participate in recreational athletic or art activities.
PAYS scholars attend small classes (approximately 15 students) taught by Pomona College faculty during their summers as rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The mathematics faculty focus on developing scholars' problem solving skills.
The writing faculty assign college-level material including poetry, journal articles, and textbook selections, all related to a common theme.
Rising seniors are given the rare opportunity to engage on a significant research project under the direction of a Pomona College faculty member.

PAYS Juniors are provided a 10-week comprehensive SAT preparation program through Veritas Prep.
Summer Session offers high school students an excellent opportunity to dive into an academic area of interest, explore the intellectual culture at UChicago, and to experience college-level work surrounded by high-achieving and intellectually curious peers.
To bring a variety of voices and perspectives to campus, UChicago offers need-based aid to students interested in participating in Summer Session.
In addition to this aid, UChicago also hosts scholarship programs for rural students, students engaged in Hispanic/Latino communities, students who identify as Black/African American, and students whose parents are police officers or firefighters, to provide enhanced financial, academic, and social support in our Summer Session programs.

Students will then compete by presenting their apps in the SCLA Demo Day to judges from Snapchat, Microsoft, and Snorkel AI.
The winning Demo Day team will win Macbook Pros.

The Summer Legal Institute is a fun, educational, and interactive program that allows students to spend FOUR DAYS involved in legal experiences that will bring them to a law school, law firms, and local courts in each of the four program cities!

Study the legal system and how it works alongside attorney and judge volunteers;

The African-American Leaders for Tomorrow Program is for 9th and 10th grade students who are interested in an on-campus, immersion experience at the California State University at Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), in Los Angeles California.
The CLBC Youth Leadership Programs seek to identify and help prepare the next generation to become community, business, governmental and non-profit organizational leaders in the African-American community.
The 2022 African-American Leaders for Tomorrow Program takes place from July 20-23 at CSUDH where students will live in the dorms and eat in the dining commons to enhance the "college" experience.
Students will learn from professionals and enjoy a variety of workshops, social activities and will participate in civic engagement learning, including mock-legislative activities.

Work of Art is a college and career exploration program designed to prepare teens with the skills, training, and real-world experience necessary to prepare them for life beyond high school.
Eligible teens are high school sophomore and juniors that have an interest in exploring a career in the arts and the creative economy, and a desire for mentorship.
The application process includes submission of an application form, an essay, a letter of recommendation, and an interview.
Once accepted, Work of Art students will explore and participate in the following areas: COLLEGE READINESS, CAREER EXPLORATION, and PERSONAL & CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
MedReach is a volunteer outreach organization that aims to provide mentorship to high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing careers in healthcare.
MedReach's goal is to educate high school students throughout Los Angeles County on various healthcare careers including, physician, physician assistant (PA), registered nurse (RN), pharmacist, physical therapy (PT), paramedic, and more.

Each student is paired with their own graduate mentor for the summer to complete a research project in the mentor's specialty. At the end of the summer, students present their project results as a poster in a public symposium (open to friends and family!).
Every week, students will attend a seminar on different topics designed to help them with applying to college, find scholarships, become a successful college student, and identify career options in STEM fields. Lunch is provided if in-person.
This students have the opportunity to attend Catalina Island Weekend at USC Wrigley Institute and visit the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA.

The California Latinx Capitol Association Foundation (CLCAF) is proud to announce its annual Internship Program.
Every year, a group of students have the opportunity to intern for an Assembly member, State Senator, or an advocacy organization in Sacramento, CA.
The CLCAF Internship Program strives to provide students, a chance to gain a meaningful professional experience in public service.
CLCAF interns are trained, mentored, and supported by experienced Capitol staff.
Program participants are also given professional and academic development workshops along with educational webinars.
At the conclusion of the internship, students will receive a scholarship and CLCAF will host a virtual ceremony for the students and their family to recognize their work and contributions.

Brave Trails is fully accredited, overnight, leadership focused summer camp designed just for LGBTQ teens, ages 12-18.
Camp Brave Trails is dedicated to creating a space where LGBTQ youth can find their people, place, and passion.
Camp Brave Trails is designed to be a haven for LGBTQ youth, where they can build community, meet supportive adult mentors, and gain leadership skills.
A financial assistance program is available to support campers who come from low-income households and are experiencing high levels financial hardship.
